Light + Building – it was great

Besides strolling through the latest innovations in the world of light, a special highlight of the fair is personal contact with old and new acquaintances. It is good to put a face to someone you have previously only spoken to on the phone or in writing, and to talk away from time pressure and specific assignments.

We did not come across any groundbreaking designs or technologies, but one or two luminaires did make us think of using them in new projects.

Once OLED technology becomes more affordable, it will offer interesting design options, especially in shop lighting (as the last two photos show). Until then we will continue to rely on LEDs and come up with discreet luminaire designs with outstanding photometric properties to light products brilliantly.
